Saint Alexander Nevsky Cathedral is a vibrant, diverse community of Orthodox Christians who embrace and confess the ancient Orthodox Christian faith.

As the Cathedral parish of the Archdiocese of Western Pennsylvania, our mission is to serve God by worshiping Him in “Spirit and in Truth,” to grow in our knowledge of Jesus Christ and His holy Gospel, and to be continually transformed into His Image and Likeness.

Saint Alexander Nevsky Cathedral is made up of people from all walks of life, from nearly every part of the greater Pittsburgh region, and from many nationalities. We are the home to cradle-born Orthodox, as well as the new spiritual home to many who have entered the Orthodox Faith as converts.
