Network of Life empowers abortion-vulnerable women to choose life. Since 1985, their centers have provided life-affirming pregnancy services to thousands of families in Pittsburgh. In 2009, the centers re-organized as Women’s Choice Network. They serve three medical clinics in Oakland, Monroeville, and the North Side, with an administrative office in Wexford.
In 2023, they expanded their vision to more effectively impact a broader audience. Network of Life is an “umbrella” over their direct client services, education for the community, and outreach to churches. Their three medical pregnancy centers continue to be the centerpiece of their work and continue to operate under the name of Women’s Choice Network.
Some facts about Network of Life:
They are faith-based—the Gospel of Jesus Christ is central to all that they do.
They value people, serve both men and women regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, or creed, and seek transformation in their lives through the power of the gospel.
They are medically focused, with three medical directors, RNs, and RDMS specialists; they provide STD testing and abortion pill reversal to those who have begun a medical abortion.
They have documented more than 7,600 babies whose lives have been saved through their work; 450 of them were saved in 2024!
At no charge to their clients, they offer pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, abortion pill reversal, post-abortion care and counseling, STI testing and treatment, medical consultations, men's ministry, and ongoing care for families through their Wellness Journey education and mentoring program.
Our partnership has enabled us to support Network of Life in multiple ways such as:
Putting together gift bags for newborns and their moms (March-April)
Sponsoring the Baby Bottle Campaign to collect donations (June-July)
Serving as an underwriter of the NOL Annual Fall Fundraiser Banquet, the network’s primary means of raising funds that enable it to operate (some 30 parishioners attend the banquet each year)
Encouraging parishioners to join the Road Crew, a dedicated prayer network, and become prayer warriors to pray for and intercede on behalf of clients facing a pregnancy decision
Conducting our Nativity Angel Tree project to collect baby items and gift cards to be distributed to NOL clients
Encouraging parishioners to become trained as volunteers who provide service to the pregnancy centers
Providing assistance and supplies for the annual NOL Christmas party for NOL client families
